1. We believe in the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments, as verbally inspired by God, as inerrant in the original writings, and as the supreme and final authority in faith and life.
  2. We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
  3. We believe that Jesus Christ was begotten by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, and is wholly God and wholly man, and is the only mediator between God and man.
  4. We believe that man was created in the image of God; that he sinned and thereby incurred physical death and spiritual death, which is separation from God.
  5. We believe in the vicarious death of the Lord Jesus Christ as a substitutionary sacrifice for our sins, and that all who believe in Him are justified on the grounds of His shed blood.
  6. We believe that all who receive the Lord Jesus Christ by faith are born again by the Holy Spirit and thereby become children of God.  All such persons are indwelt by the Holy Spirit, and baptized by Him into that spiritual body, (the Church) of which Christ is the head.
  7. We believe in the eternal security of all who trust in our Lord Jesus Christ.
  8. We believe in the resurrection of our Lord in His crucified body, in His ascension into heaven, and in His present life there for us as High Priest and advocate.  We believe in “that blessed hope” and in the personal, visible, pre-millennial and imminent return of our Lord Jesus Christ to establish His Kingdom on the earth.
  9. We believe that baptism in the name of the Father, of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, sets forth the essential facts of redemption, the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ; and also, the essential facts in the experience of the believer --- death to sin and resurrection to newness of life; that the Lord’s Supper is an ordinance of the New Testament, which shows forth the death and suffering of our Lord Jesus Christ, consisting in the reception of the bread and wine.
  10. We believe in the bodily resurrection of the saved and lost.  The saved shall appear in heaven at the judgment seat of Christ to receive rewards and dwell with Him for all eternity; the lost shall be resurrected and judge at the Great White Throne and be cast into the eternal Lake of Fire.
  11. We believe that a local New Testament Church is a self-governing body and must be free from interference by any convention or any other ecclesiastical or political authority; therefore, the church and state must be kept separate as having different functions, each fulfilling its duties free from the dictates or patronage of the other.
  12. We believe that a local New Testament Church consists of a company of baptized believers who have voluntarily associated themselves for worship, instruction, and service for the Lord.
  13. We believe in the personality of Satan, that he is the unholy god of this age and the author of all the powers of darkness and is destined to the judgment of eternal punishment in the Lake of Fire.
  14. We believe God created humankind as male and female and ordained marriage as holy and sacred between one man and one woman.  All sexual relations must therefore be reserved for that union.  Any sexual expression outside of what the Scriptures indicate is sinful and outside of God’s will for the believer.
